Disney + is finally available in France! Five months after the release in the United States, the Disney streaming platform arrived here. Initially scheduled for April 4, the platform had to revise its release date following the request of the government, for fear of saturation of the network.
Current circumstances have led Disney to make a 100% online communication campaign, since events such as launch parties for example are prohibited during this period of containment.

Thus, Disney has invaded the Internet for advertising for their platform this week: partnership with influencers, Twitter ad spot, Instagram… It is impossible for you to have missed the news. And it seems that the campaign worked, since the Disney + FR accounts on Twitter and Instagram are already followed by more than 80k subscribers. What reception has the internet users had for the platform? For most people, the release of the platform comes "to save their confinement" and her delighted to have access to all the classics of their childhood. But for others, the launch goes rather badly ... Indeed, the problems begin on the time of exit from the platform. No official time had been announced and some said it would be available by midnight while others spoke of two in the morning. Finally, Disney + came out at 8 a.m. and the excessively high subscription demand did not make it any easier, since all the subscriptions included in the Canal + offer could not be activated. And Internet users did not wait to let people know.

The problem was resolved around midday the same day and since then, the platform seems to satisfy young and old!
